Hey, I'm Annette! I'm a maker and illustrator currently based in Salt Lake City, Utah. I spend a lot of my time making felt crafts and turning them into patterns so you can make them too. This is where I share tutorials, product picks, and everything in between. Glad you're here!
My Story
A little about me outside of crafting: I'm half Japanese and I grew up in the US, but spent my summers growing up in Japan. I try to visit extended family over there as often as I can. At home, I live with my husband Adam and our very precious and cuddly cat, Ume. I have a background in Film/Animation and Graphic Design, which all honestly comes in handy more than I expected on the content creation side of things.
I've always loved crafts, especially felt, but what really pulled me in was trying to come up with a handmade Christmas gift idea. The one thing everyone on my list had in common was that they all had cats, and I wanted to challenge myself to make something new using what I had. One idea led to another, and somewhere along the way it turned into patterns, a YouTube channel, a shop, and this little blog.
I'm still in the early stages of my little business, but I have a lot planned and I hope you'll stick around! 🐾
